Designed for adults, whaanau and general visitor groups, this guided experience offers a deeper journey into the history, people and significance of Rangiriri.

Unlike our education tour designed specifically for tamariki and rangatahi, this experience centres on storytelling, reflection and connection to whenua. Guided by descendants, visitors walk through the remnants of the original Rangiriri Paa and full-scale Maaori replica earthwork trenches while hearing powerful narratives of courage, sacrifice, survival and resilience during the invasion of Waikato.
